1. Are lab fees included in flat fees?
No, flat fee covers your clinical time only. Patients will pay the third-party lab (like Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp) directly or use their insurance for testing.
2. Are there any restrictions to acute care visits?
Yes, some conditions cannot be treated via telehealth (e.g., severe respiratory distress, atypical chest pain, sudden neurological deficits, open wounds, and other conditions that require hands-on physical treatment). These restrictions help avoid charging for visits that require an immediate ER referral. Clinical Alliance Telehealth is not for medical emergencies; we terminate the call and direct you to dial 911 or visit the nearest physical emergency room.
3. Do Clinical Alliance Telehealth offer Superbill Automation?
Yes, upon request. Although Clinical Alliance Telehealth is currently a cash-based provider, the EHR system used can generate a superbill containing appropriate codes for chronic conditions or acute complaints. This will allow you to independently seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider according to your specific plan's deductible rules.
4. What is included in flat rates?
Our flat rates cover the Nurse Practitioner's specialized clinical time and expertise during your consultation. Payments are required at time of services. The flat rate does not include:
Prescription medications: The cost of your hormones, GLP-1 medications, antibiotics, or chronic condition management medications is paid directly to your retail or compounding pharmacy.
Laboratory Testing: Blood work ordered through Quest or Labcorp will be processed using your commercial health insurance or settled directly with the lab.
5. What technology do I need for my virtual visit?
All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and a stable internet connection. We use a secure, browser-based platform, so there is no need to download or install complex software before your visit.
6. Are my telehealth visits private and secure?
Yes, security is a priority at Clinical Alliance Telehealth. We use encrypted, healthcare-compliant platforms designed to protect your personal information and ensure that your conversations with our providers remain strictly confidential and safe.
